Oakland Soccer Gear Distributing

After gathering soccer gear for kids, we visited them and began handing out the donations we received from the Tri-Valley Community. When we were handing out the jerseys and cleats we could feel a sense of excitement and anticipation from the players. The day had finally arrived for the group of kids to make use of the donations and continue on their soccer journey. The idea to distribute soccer gear for kids in Oakland was born out of a desire to positively impact the community. Soccer has an incredible power to inspire and unite the players. However, not all kids have access to the necessary equipment to participate in sports. Our church, soccer clubs, and individuals donated their time and resources to achieve the goal of making a difference. The smiles on those kids' faces reminded us of the gratefulness of being able to help the soccer community. We hope that the soccer gear we distributed will have a lasting impact on these kids!
